What are crops marks and why are they important?
There are slight fluctuations that happen during the digital print process, mostly in registration and double sided print. Building in crop marks and bleed ensures that we will cut your print pieces to the exact size that you ordered without seeing white slivers around the outside of the piece.
Can you explain to me what full bleed means?
Full bleed is a design or print piece that has color bleed all the way to the edge.
What is a vector graphic?
A vector graphic consists of paths, which are defined by a start and end point, along with other points, curves and angles along the way. With an extension of .EPS a vector graphic has all areas of a design converted to outlines so that the file can be read correctly by our digital presses. Vector graphics are typically required for contour vinyl installations and promotional products.
Is there a benefit to running my mail through bulk?
The main benefit to processing your mail as bulk mail through our production facility, is that we have the capability of applying postage discounts to your job based on the amount of mail you are printing. The more mail you have to print, the more you will ultimately save in postage and processing a job as bulk.
Do you have special pricing for non-profit organizations?
Yes – We have tiered pricing that breaks out any order amount. Our team will always advise you of price breaks to make sure you are making the most of your marketing dollars.
When would a good time be for me to pick up my print job?
Our print shop operates from 9:00AM – 4:30PM. If you would like to pick up your job after hours then we do have an evening staff available until 9PM at night.
Where is parking for your print shop?
There is metered parking available on North Market Street & King Streets. If parking is unavailable we are happy to run our job out to your car, please call 302-888-2060 upon arrival. There are delivery alcoves in front of The Grand Opera House and Chelsea Tavern that are available to pull your car into, please put your flashers on. Paid parking is also available at The Double Tree on King Street.
Where is your print shop located and how should I enter the building?
Our print shop is in downtown Wilmington at 824 North Market Street in between The Grand Opera House & Jimmy John’s. Between The Grand Opera House & Jimmy John’s is a professional walk through that will bring you to the main entrance of 824 North Market on your left. Enter through the revolving doors and have a guard escort you to the back entrance of our production facility.
